I'll attest to that. my celsior did a 15.6 quarter dead standard. they weigh over 1800kg...
there are also bolt-on blower kits out there for them which put power up to 215+kw atw, with a std ecu.

What about the 4.5L V8 in the Nissan Cima's? How do they compare to the Lexus V8s?

they're pretty similar from what I've been told. I don't think they get worked as often however,so getting hot bits may be more difficult.

look around for an infiniti forum and see what they're up to with them. the yanks will be the ones working the V8 if anyone is,the japanese don't bother with V8's beyond cat back exhausts generally speaking.

my celsior also gained about 40kw atw from a dual cat-back 2 1/2" system btw. :D

that's actually illegal for road use,but it would be different.
just like that pro stock S14 with the FJ20ET. race only...

you're not allowed to put an engine into a car that's older than the chassis itself. hence why stuff like new lotus 7 kit cars run honda engines and such now instead of the old mainstay 4AGEs. Going up is fine of course, but you can't go backwards. emissions laws are the main reason they'll cite for the why nots out there.

maybe if you had an old classic that's pre-compliance you could do it,but that'd still be silly. going backwards is rarely a good thing.

The rear doors must counter-balance the donk under the bonnet/in the driver's seat :P
