Any plans to drop the Jap spec turbo engine in there? :)

They are a really nice package these cars, sort of one of those little secrets not many people knew about and didnt seem to move a lot of them in this country.
Their loss I guess
Many, many years ago a friend had a Chrysler-Valiant Galant we did up for rally which was a weapon, I still have bad dreams about being navigator in that damn thing when he got about 3ft of air off a hill and landed about 40ft down the hill at 130km/h on a dirt track up near Tamworth... I guess in retrospect it was probably not one of the most sensible things I've done.
Hilarious at the time though!

same ! very clean example as well.

pity its FWD, is the older VR4 4WD driveline easily transferable ?

edit: just noticed the 4WD conversion part of future plans, it will be a weapon :)

thanks for the comments guys,

There are 2 donor cars i can use for the conversion, The 1994-96 VR4 or the Sports GT

The Sports GT was released over in Japan they came 4WD Twin Turbo 2L V6 same shape as mine, comes with ugly roof racks, 2 tone paint, spotties and a big f off wing, and then you have the VR4 Same deal but in a sedan 2L TT V6, 4WD, 4WS,

There is a few minor mods need to complete the conversion, Bigger capture studs for the 4WD to bolt in and the tunner needs to be modified to run the tail shaft and Exhuast through, which will be cut out of the Front cut,

The 4WD system comes with front and Rear LSD and 4WS :D exicted,

Really looking forward to finishing this car off, there are only about 6 converted TT Galant in Aust none have been 4WD yet,

Any idea what it's all going to cost you? I reckon the 4WD conversion will be a killer, hence why none of the others in Aus have had it done.

Front and rear cut including fuel tank, tail shaft is around $2500 i have had a few prices around the same $$ mark from other importers , about $1200 for a mate to help me fit the motor and 4wd he has allready done the conversion to his own Galant Minus the 4WD system, http://www.v6lancer.com/ttgalant.htm

Engineering shouldnt be to expensive as its all factory bolt up, yet to find out ;)

Hey man nice car! 97kw at the wheels is very impressive too for that motor. My daily is a HH series GSR Galant, and it feels as if its got 30kw at the wheels lol. The 200 stays in the shed.
