Hi Guys,
My girlfriend is shopping for a new car and has fallen in love with the Suzuki Cappuccino. Has anybody had any experience with these, driven one etc etc.

Basically just want to know if they are any good :D

Cheers

Yeah I really like them too!! 660 cc engine with a turbo the thing would be like driving a go cart!! if she gets one it would be mad I reckon. But what about availability of parts etc etc.

ALso safety is a minor concern

They are a good little car, however an MX5 with a rotary would be better, that way you'll both enjoy driving it and you won't get teased when you leave that V8 at the lights :)
Or if you want something a little later model and safer, You might want to check out the Daihatsu Copen. The one I saw at the motor show a few years back looked like a go kart on roids. :)

or a side-on for that matter...

I would push an MX5 over a cappucino or a copen. local parts support, and a more rigid body alone makes it a better choice IMHO.

They sound like zippers..

get the newer model i think thats a .7 litre or .8

and id imagine they'd have a hard time getting to 100km...

its like 10 seconds 0-100

there was an article on a 'hot coffee' capacino in a car mag not long ago that apparently ran an 11 sec.. but i doubt it was the standard coffee motor it comes with.

Personally i like them but thats only because of initial d and the idea of them being a light weight weapon. But seeing engine bay pics and all everything is so tiny.

But i guess your gf would appreciate it, its like a mini s2000 with bov noises :)

no all engines are the same size. the later models had a timing chain and alloy block, power steering and a few minor changes.

same power, same engine capacity, same dimensions (being K class)

SR conversion yo :)

Would you be allowed to do this? It may be too much of an increase in capacity or what not. It'd be a good swap though.
