First time I've ever heard that car called a Pulsar. When pix came out in May it was called AZEAL.

I have to admit it looks pretty good for a front-driver.

Aside from the Pulsar driving shit talkers, no-one's called it anything but an AZEAL or "Sport Concept".

Its a tidy looking car, but hopefully one of the changes from concept into production will involve it getting drive to the rear wheels.

Don't tell anyone but inside news is on a GTiR/SSS come back sometime next year.

Basicly it;s looking lie it will be a QR25DE (T30 X-trail engine) with all the T30 running gear including the all mode 4wd system into a pulsar hatch, power to weight the x-trail is impressive but the pulsar varient should be worth the wait.

Yep they have the B15 Sentra SE-R.

Has around 150kw.

Too bad its a QR series engine...

The QR has always been held in high hopes by nissan. It is a very tough engine internally. I currently have one in bits due to being overheated. Compent wise they have many similarities to the SR and some features that id consider being superior to the SR as well.

I will be very suprised if we don't see more and more of it like we did with the SR and KA series engines.

Id personally like to see the QR developed, if not by nissan/renault then by someone in the aftermarket.

My opinion is based on what the guys in the US are saying about hte QR.

They have been very unrealiable and many have had theirs rebuilt under warranty from factory.... (Oil Burning)

But they produce great power and are very tough.

But in stock form i'd have to think twice about having one...

also note the boost guage in the pics. whether or not it will make it to australia is another thing though

In australia we also have oil burning issues in the T30's

The problem is based around incorrect fuel maps.
The re-call campain involves inspecting/replacing the cat, re-programing the ecu with a new fuel map.
Some T30's have done so many K's without the campain and they do start to burn oil ffrom glazed bores.

However in saying this its a very small minority same as the current N16 pulsar, the QG18 has a habbit of burning oil but again its the minority.

Id have no hessitation what so ever in buying a QR25 equiped vehicle if the rest of the car was able to live up to the drive line I think it would be a good thing.
