Hey guys
i currently own a tough little 1991 SSS with the U12 conversion that pulls over 170kw at the wheels and i gotta say they are a great little car, although i do have a love for nissans anyway, i think the SSS is the best hot hatch you can get in N14 form, due to the fact that it has IRS compared to a solid live axle, the DE is a strong engine, but the DET in the pulsar is a worthwhile swap that i would recommend to anyone considering buying a pulsar but wantin some boost!

If you do attempt any sort of conversion like this though, get the VLSD gearbox it rocks! :)

Hey,
Was just wondering what everyone thought of the pulsar SSS...one of my friends has one, and it seems pretty cool, but i havnt been in it......i'm gonna ask him if i can.......what does everyone else think about them....in general..engine/interior/exterior/availaible mods?????

I know what I think - why you would settle for a SSS when you could have morgs GTiR ??

Yea, I had a n15 s2 sss before my s14a. Nice car the SSS.

Took it to wakefield racetrack twice. I had only rampod air filter, 2.5' exhaust cat back, and 2' lowered and I was keeping up to this wrx unmodified with this asian guy driving who admitted himself that he wasnt a great driver.

When i came back to the pits all his mates come over and was asking what the car had done to it, as it was keeping up to the wrx flat out. I didnt even have slicks ! Gees that was a great feeling ! :D
