I think that engine is from the V35 Skylines and Z's?

The JGTC Z's were using RB26DETT's.Not sure about this season though.

JGTC cars are running VQ engines, and have been for a couple of years now. the calsonic R34 had one in it in 2004...

the rumour mill says the next GTR will run a VQ30DETT,chasing better response and top end power than the VQ35 has. jury's still out as far as I'm concerned. I'll wait until the car is in the dealerships over there.

Fergo is right the rumor is it will sport a DETTT VQ. they are a really good engine as far as im concerned in DE form but would be even better DETT. They have had there share of problems in the Z33's but the majority I have seen are from driver abuse rather than manufacture faults.

i think a while ago xracing did a twin turbo convert on a zed engine, dunno whether it was a 30 or 35 tho.. i think it also put out quite alot of power with a modest boost setting
