expect the worst possible outcome in terms of fuel consumption if your planning on power up your LS1

that alone to me would stop it from being a daily driver

Early reports on the PWR supercharger says that it improves fuel economy in commuting.

Which lines up with what I've heard from APS TT Z33 customers, who report that their metropolitan fuel economy has jumped from 8.x km/L to around 10.x km/L.

Of course, once you stick the boot in, you can expect that it'll use a bit more fuel than a stock LS1. But if you want more power, you've got to burn more fuel.

yeah forced induction will always improve efficiency, and under light load you can get good economy

but if you stay n/a, you will be frequenting the bowser

So I was sitting there, undecided if I should save up and get twin turbos for my car.

As soon as I found out that it improved around-town fuel economy, it was decided. I knew I had to improve my car's peak power by 50%....because that's the environmentally responsible thing to do ;)

and ask them to picket the NRMA and call them earth-rapers when they refuse to insure the minor modifications I made to my little Datsun that greatly improves its fuel efficiency :)

your normal 350ci in your SS bomodore is good for 300rwhp with minimal mods

full exhurst
air filter
remove AFM and use MAF
reprogram ECU

all very well priced for the power u will get

that will have it doing low 13s high 12s depending on driver/car etc

AFM = Air Flow Meter
MAF = Mass Air Flow sencer (correct me if im rong)

AFm do a pritty good job of restricting air flow

where the maf doesnt

nah, a MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor is the type of AFM (Air Flow Meter) used on Nissans.

you're thinking of a MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor, which doesn't restrict flow at all, but is much less accurate.
