my mate has a ford fairlane, and he got an exhuaust done for it. The exhuast ends just after the cat, and it is bloody mean sounding. To deter the police, he has a "Fake" muffler at the back, but it is a bit obvious as you wont see any emmissions coming from it. At least with this baby you will, making it even the more sleeper!!@!@

I was considering a similar stealth mod on my old Pulsar.

A nice 2.25" catback (its N/A, after all) but then welding on a black, mild steel tip onto the end so it'd look like a stock Pulsar 1.6L exhaust.

Years ago in hot4s or one such magazine there was a datsun 180b (i think) with some hipo engine (probably an SR) that had that sort of exhaust and wide steel wheels so that he could still use the factory hub caps :). It was cool.

That car was an Orange 1200 sedan, from Vic. i loved that car. in the artical it was parked outside a bed shop.

I've seen it done on two Mazdas.

But the guy acutally used a resonator to do it...

So basically the out was on the bottom of the resonator whilst the back of it looked standard...

I've seen it done on a Subaru Brumy with a reasonably tough FJ20T engine. Kinda cool. I'm all for stealth, but it's a bit further than I'd ever go. Still cool none the less
