I am on a mission to install a new CD player in a friends 95 Excel.
Does anyone have a wiring Diagram for this car???
If so could they post it up or emai it to me please or point me in the right direction :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

Well, get a full tank of petrol and a long wick say a few metres. Insert wick into fuel tank light wick and run ( with camcorder taping ). Oh and just chuck the CD player on the front seat.......

cant you just chop the plug off the old loom and re-use the power & speaker cables?

(im assuming youre not putting an amp in...... or ARE you? :P )

Havent pulled it apart yet to look, and Yes the wick in the petrol tank is a good idea :lol:

I have just heard that it is pretty difficult to change with the wiring etc etc. Im security licenced and pretty good with electronics, but diagrams are always better!! :P 8)

I noticed the other day that Dick Smith PowerHouse now sells pre made wiring loom adapters for a lot of cars (Silvias Included (!)) so they probably have an Excel one, which would save some hacking, and make it a lot easier to convert back if needed in the future.
