got my car weighed a while back for the engineers certificate, just looking at it now my car weighs 1390 - 3/4 tank of petty driver, and doof doof crap :D

I've been doing a bit of that in my AE86... but the reduction you'll see isn't particularly huge that way...a few hundred grams at best. fine if you're going for every last ounce though...

Obviously you weren't doing a proper job. Things like chassis rails, diff housings and windscreens could have alot of weight drilled out of them :)

Yeah, its been around for a while.

But the phrases "chicks dig convertibles" and "if you want something to stop existing, the Milkwalkee Sawzall is the tool for you" have always stuck in my head.
