....Except you can't clutch dump it from redline, since the ECU rev limits the engine.

4WD traction isn't much good if your engine bogs down, and your turbo (which you're relying heavily on to make power) falls off boost. Quite the opposite, actually.

A workmates bog stock EVO 8 did a 13.6

There is no such thing as an aussie delivered EVO 7. Jap EVO 7 should do around the same time, if not a touch quicker.

yeh i agree, i reckon it should be and capable to do high 13s in straight line, i heard they aren't that bad around corners with the ayc, accd all that techno that has been implemented on the car!
