what do you fella's think of a 92-98 model toyota MR2 turbo with the
3s-gte twin entry turbo engine?
under 17k is pretty alright for a car like that.

I've driven a single turbo one quite some time ago. It had decent power but the main positive with the car was the handling, it felt really steady around corners.

At the time I hadn't been familiar with drifting so as far as drifting goes, I can only go from what the Drift Biblke says and its got huge over steer.

One bummer of a thing was it was sort of vibrating in the cabin due to the engine right behind your head.

Yeah i have read some pretty good reviews on these little beasts.. They say they have excellent power and go pretty fast.. I prefer one of these now instead of a sr20det s13. Their looks are much better also 8)

SW20 was made from 1989, and if that 15 year import thing is still around, then you can pick em up for very cheap prices.

Those Door stop AW11's are from the 80's, who cares when they look like a wedge of cheese heeheh

I reckon the older ones have a charming look about em... I like both.

There both great cars anyways...

lol, you wanna spend a few thousand dollars more, just to get the round lights? :P it was 1994 btw, not 96, and it would be cheaper just swapping the lights. :p

also, a good torque/power increase is swapping a 1MZ-FE into it. its a 3 litre V6, that weighs less than the stock 3S-GTE (2 litre turbo) chuck a supercharger on it, and a few other mods and be happy with a very reliable, and streetable 300+hp and 290tq... both at the wheels.

the stock 1993+ turbo MR2's are good for 200hp at the wheels, stock. the 4 banger, 2 litre engine is good for about 730hp max ;););) with a few thousand dollars worth of mods :p

V6 MR2 mod can be found here: http://bedellracing.home.comcast.net/
730hp MR2 can be found here: http://www.jimsnodgrass.com/tec.htm

good luck with your little cars btw :P:D lol

EDIT: and just FYI, theres a few people working on twin turbo V6 MR2's :D:D:D:D lol
