does anyone know about the legalities involved with removing the rear windscreen wiper ?? I'm getting all the holes in my boot from the various wings the car has had in it's life filled in and I thought I might remove the windscreen wiper and plug it too. Is it legal to remove it as far as ADR's are concerned ??

I don't think it should be a problem - my mum's camry doesn't have a rear wiper... Then again, i'd talk to someone who knows the ADR's before going ahead with it...

I beleive the rule is "All OEM Wipers must function", which means since you're car came with a rear wiper it needs to stay there and be operable. i THINK

however the chance of someone NOTICING that there is supposed to be one is very slim.

yeah I would have thought that too about the OEM wipers having to function, it wouldn't be hard to notice in a inspection thou coz the control is on the control arm, so it's not like you can pull it out.
