The BEndix part no. for SR20 180SX front is either DB1232 or DB1187, they both do the job. Rear is DB284.

rears for the 180 are DB325, use DB1232 for the front for SR20, CA's use a different pad.

Performax arn't available yet for 1232's so i don't know what he has quoted you, also with performax when they are cold they don't stop well untill you get heat into them.
Personaly im using slotted rotors with maxistop pads which seem to be doing the job quite well.

DB325 i'm sure have electronic wear indicators...otherwise same pad...so unless you want to pay more for a useless electronic wear indicator switch use DB284!! Maxistops are a cheap alternative...

more or less. a few of the european cars run an electronic pad wear setup, where a light will come on on the dash to warn you that they're due to be replaced. no silvia comes with this.

they won't be on the pads themselves,it's an electric trigger that is earthed when the backing plate gets close enough.
it's a bit of a wank if you ask me,but if they want to run them, good luck.

Justin...

Stop wasting your time and get some decent pads. Ferodo DS2500's. Retail around $205 a pair for the fronts and are bloody awesome value. Didn't fade at all at the last track day i did. SR20 part # FCP691H

YEH, WIERD, I JUST THEM PUT IN MY CAR 2 WEEKS AGO. i WASNT SURE OF THE BRAND. I CAME INTO THE BRAKE SHOP AND ASK HOW MUCH FOR BENDIX PERFORMAX WHERE OR EBC GREEN STUFF WAS FOR REAR...ANYWAYS....SHORT STRORY...THE BRAKE GUY CONVINCED ME THAT THIS PADS (FERODO)WAS GOOD AND IT WAS GOING TO LAST QUITE SOME TIME (I HAD BENDIX STANDARD BEFORE AND THESE LASTED JUST 14 MONTHS). ARE THESE A GOOD BRAND? I GOT THEM DONE AND INSTALLED FOR $106 AT B&R BRAKES, NEXT TO HILLS.

playboy - if you mean the Ferodo's yeah they are a bloody good pad. Did you keep the box they came in? That way you can check the part # to ensure they are DS2500's. $106 sounds a bit chaep unless you mean its for each side.
