Car: i'm in a transitional period :)
O.K guys...i want a fifteen eighty...
Now i know you can get conversion kits for these, but they seem pretty expensive....

Instead, i want to find out exactly what i need to do the conversion, and gradually accumulate the parts when i see something for a good price...I'm in no real rush, so i hope i can get things cheaper....

So if you could help us out by telling me what i exactly i will need, that'd be cool
Cheers!
AzzA :D

damn thats a good deal! considering I've heard of some places charging $6k for the same thing but without the vertex kit - just the factory front bar.

I would start with a S15 front cut, motor is optional :P
You might like to just save up and get it all done at the same time, that way all you panels will be from the same place, same colour and they should line up a bit better.

You wont be able to use the original s15 bonnet or guards (without a fair bit of mods).

That Bodyform deal sounds pretty damn good.
One of the BF workshop 180's had Ganador mirrors. *drool*

Guys, unfortunately none of the parts are bolt up, and need to be made specifically for the conversion, increasing the cost significantly...

plus it means you end up with a completely fibreglass front end, custom mounts for the headlights etc, etc... not fun.

looks pretty though, definately...

just found out Bomex have front guards which fit on the 180 for the strawberry conversion, all you need then is genuine S15 parts and some hard work :P

Guys, guys, guys. There is always an easy way out. :)

Image

I had to do a screen grab cause i couldnt link directly.
Go to www.takakaira.com , => "Aero Kits", => Nissan => West Yokohama.

Best thing is, you can leave the front bar and get which ever S15 bar that you like.
