I see a lot of questions about everything to do with SR20's etc. This months Zoom has profiled the SR20. Here are the specs...

S13 Silvia/ 180sx

Engine: SR20DET
Capacity:1998cc
Compression: 8.5:1
BorexStroke: 86x86mm
Turbocharger: Nissan/Garrett T25g plain bearing
(AR .64 exh/ .60 compressor)
Standard boost: 0.5bar
Throttle body: 60mm
Airflow meter: 54mm hot wire
ECU type: Nissan ECCS
Injectors: 370cc side feed high impedence injectors (12-14.5 ohm)
Power: 153 @6000rpm
Torque: 274nm @ 4000rpm
Power at wheels (Dyno Dynamics) : Approx 105kw@ wheels

These specs are same for both red and black rocker cover 180's...

you'll be suprised at how many nissan cars produce peak power and torque at those exact rpm.

It's something nissan has going, and i think its more then coincidence.

My mate has a Blacktop SR20DET and the turbo has a/r of 0.80, other people with blacktops have told me the same thing aswell..

Can anyone confirm if the turbos are different from redtop to blacktop ?

Cheers..
