Hey guys,
im up for rego in 2 months and was just wondering what i need to change back to normal to pass rego, here are the after market stuff that are on the car now :

18"inch chrome wheels with brand new rubber
turbo timer
HKS airfilter
boost controller
Full exhaust from turbo back with 5"inch cannon
boost gauge

Thats about it, i know this topic might sound stoopid, but this is my first car, and its a 180sx as well and i dont know anything about renewing rego,so if someone could tell me wot to do, it would appreciated!!
cheeers

if you go somewhere you know they may turn a blind eye to the mods, if they arnt to crazy and the car is in good condition.

the only thing likely to cause a problem is the wheels for rego...

at my last rego, not too long ago,

they looked primarily at tread, suspension componets, maybe diff

didnt look under the bonnet, and they took the out with a gauge of somesort to test the braking of the car.

get a greem slip from a dodgy engineer and you won't have a problem with geting all the test's done.... instead just quick renewal(sp?)

you probably won't have a problem as long as tyres are ok, but if they knock it back because of the wheels you'll need to borrow a smaller set.

make sure you do the rego test with plenty of time left - ie don't do it on the last possible day :)

i would not worry. All you need to do is get a pink slip. Go to your local garage and they will give you one.....most of them dont care about the mods (with my cappuccino they never cared). The all you need to do is take the paper work to the rta
