hey guys, just bought a new engine brace and just wondering if anyone can tell me how to set it up???

should i bolt it on then put alot of pressure on it or just a little?
it has 2 spots of adjustment.

Do you mean an engine damper?

You want a decent amount of pressure on it or it won't do anything.

Installed correctly it will transfer some engine vibrations to the body of the car which you will might feel in the seat, and prevent your engine mounts wearing out as quickly.

that's if it's an engine damper like this one.

the damper should be very difficult to compress by hand.

I'm yet to see an engine dampner that isn't a straight rod inside an anodised cylinder.

Not smart

dont transfer the engine torque to a point of the chassis that isnt designed to take that load. like the strut tower.

the real fix, get nismo engine mounts. better than any engine damper
