Ok, just a quick question, whats with the bloody auto seatbelts in these cars, i don't see any positives coming out of them, just shitting me, do they serve much of a purpose or are the good old standard ones better to replace them with, thanks guys

Pretensioners?
Yeah the ones in my 180sx always stuffed up, they wouldn't go tight unless you turned the car off.
My fix was going to be to just unplug them but I never got around to it.

Yeah theyd b the ones, just annoying i think, most times have to unbuckle n buckle up again for them to work, so unpluggin them will make them a bit better then?

Well mine worked fine when the car was off and sometimes didn't when the car was on. Turning the car off instantly made them work again.
With the car off they just acted like normal non pre tensioning seat belts so it's fair to say that removing the power from them should make them work just fine.

Interesting that you still have them.

They should be replaced as part of the compliance works.

Yeah I was thinking the same, someone workshop got stingy or perhaps the car is a personal import.
