Hey all

Just found this site and was relieved to find it much more informative and beneficial then nissansilvia.com

I have a 1995 180sx with the usual mods you buy them with, FMIC, pod filter (just a hot air sucker imo) turbo back exhaust. And some other things like adjustable coilovers on the back and tomei circuit pros on the front. And a few other things

Live down in nowra on the south coast, anyone else from down this area? Be great to finally find someone else down here with a 180. Will upload pics of my ride at some stage over the next few days n you can tell me what u think

Tony

Hey man!
Welcome to our little club :P
There are quite a few of us S series boys in Wollongong but I don't think there are any that far out!
Put those pictures up sooner man, I love looking at other peoples rides.
I like to think you can tell a lot about a person from the outside of their car.

Hey
Thanks for the welcome, yeah I figured there wouldn't be many down this far, I had to go to Sydney when I was hunting for a 180sx. But then I rarely turn down the opportunity for a drive so Wollongong isn't that far away. Went to put pics up but couldn't find the damn things so I found one from when I bought it, its up in my garage thing. Will take some more when the weathers a bit better to show it with the rims n plates that came with it, 19 inch rims on the 180 is a pain n wasted power, wanna go down to 17-18 light weight ones. But once I get a few things started i want to start joining in on the cruises etc, get some knowledge n all from ppl who like them as much as i do.

Alright got a couple pics up now, had to shrink them though so it would let me upload them, mags are usually shiny but hey, don't have time to clean them all the time, will try get interior pics and engine pics up later on.

I go to Ingleburn.
Drift garage = the best around.
IDK what Wollongong is like, but I've had bad experiences in the Southern Highlands tho....

It's only offensive if you can read it and your thinking dirty.
Which is everyone of us ;)

I do have o say, save yourself heartache and take it to a mechanic that knows what they are doing. Basic service, who cares 99% of the time.
But any tuning fitting etc get a real tuner to do it.

Yeah thats it, i dont have a problem with it so i'm not changing it

Yeah thats what i was thinking, i do all the normal service and most "simple" mechanics myself but when it comes to somethin important or im unsure of would rather just pay someone who knows to get it right the first time, so once i get the nistune and sort out the bloody knock sensor i'll take it up there for a tune and power reading.
