I Have owned my 180sx for about 3 years and the about the only 2 things i have done to it is a stereo system ($13,000) and a 3" turbo back exhaust.

Just recently bought a Vertex style body kit, and looking at getting that fitted and the car resprayed.
Can anyone recomend some good people around the central coast that could do this?

Also looking at finally getting some rims for the car. I was thinking of 18"s all round but then thought maybe of 18"/19" on the front and 19"/20" on the back. Any suggestions on which would be better and how they would effect preformance would be great.

Finally also looking at upgrading the engine to get around 600hp from it.
Any suggestions on the goodies that i may need with cost?
I know i will need atleast the following
*Turbo
*Intercooler
*Injectoers
*Fuel Pump
*Aftermarket ECU
*Heavy Duty Clutch

Anything else i missed out on

All feed back is greatly apprciated.

600hp? you need a list a LOT longer than that. do a search on the forum for info on cars making ~300kw atw, which is close to 500hp at the engine, and then double what that level of work and the parts requirements cost.

why do you want that much power? and out of what engine?

as for wheels,I suggest 17x8's and 17x9's. anything larger is a waste of money, and won't handle any better. certainly not enough to warrant the significantly higher tyre prices.

I suggest you start browsing the forum heavily. the answers to most questions you'll have will be in here already.

I work in the audio industry lol
pushes abit over 150db. was originally making a spl car just couldn't be nacked going to any meets in syd.

Update* I guess 600hp was a little bit crazy from reading a few threads on here. Any opinions on best kind of power to have on street/ track?
Bear in mind my sub/amp install weighs about 30 - 50 kg's

200rwkw is enough in a 180 to shit yourself. You'd need bigger brakes aswell.

How did you manage to spend $13000 on an audio system? Surely it must be so loud that you can't even concentrate on driving, let alone hear other traffic at all?

:o

Both front doors have sound deading but not using dynamat under the skin. i actually used sound deading paint on tar under the actully skin so the tar rests on the metal panel closest to the outside of the car.
The whole boot is covered in dyna mat.
Sound deading tar wasn't to expensive about $40 from auto pro.
Dynamat was though about $79 a kit and i went through about 3 - 5 kits doing the boot.

Anyway enough about the stereo, any advice on particualr turbos or min size injectors i need?

I have just rang a local workshop called the "Throttle Shop" located in gosford nsw,

They qouted about $8,000 to get my car to around 250kw - 300kw drive in drive out.
Since i am not to sure about prices for any gear is this a good qoute?

or sell the car and go buy sky180.

all it need is to extract more power and everything else has been done (brakes and suspension and the kit) and put your audio back in. perfect car. newer too.
