Perhaps a few months before coming back you could do an EOI of some sort. I know alot of forums dont allow it but its worth a shot ay.

I think you could get asking price for your car although i think you'd have to be patient with it.

Yeah I had considered that, perhaps get an EOI and ask for a deposit in case the buyer backs out. It's something I think I'll try to do.

Haha yeh i think it'd be hard to get a deposit without them seeing the car in person though ay. I mean you could be some crazy Nigerian scammer!!!!

But its hard to say anyway because who knows what the market is like when you decide to come back. When are you thinking of coming back anyway? I might want to get a few small parts sent back before you do hahaha

You can get parts off me any time I've sent back about $10k worth of stuff as is.
As far as a deposit I've done it once before for a car sight unseen, I guess it's the same as every other exporter in Japan, they all sell sight unseen.
Really though that's a second option after sell it here.

Only via a container. Containers I can organise but obviously someone has to pay for them. It's about $3000 to post a container (which when you split it between some people isn't actually that much) so if someone was sufficiently motivated they could get a shipment of all kinds of big things. I've been asked for carbon bonnets and run free bodykits recently as well so there is certainly the demand for it.

Haha that's right!
My decision is to bring the car back by the way. If worst comes to worst I can sell it basically stock with just the external cosmetic mods in place and sell off the rest of the bits separately.

Oh yeah I put it together after clear coating it the other day. It needs a good buff but as you can see it was even raining when I was putting it together so that will have to wait till after my holiday.

PM me about it.
