hey guys. as topic states. im having problems with my power steering. as i steer its very reluctant to turn. it turns tho but it bounces back in the oposite direction. and squeeks wen i turn. theres fluid left. this has been going on for 3 or so days.

problem is

steering squeeks
turns but bounces back (i think its called chattering)
not always easy to turn. (sometimes its easy to turn but not always)

sorry for the lack of description.

any help would be good thanks.

i replaced teh belt about a week ago. no problems untill the past saturday. it happens every time i turn. wether moving or not. i was told it oculd be air bubles in the fluid causing this. and should drive it for a day or 2 to see if goes away.

New belt doesn't equal tight belt. Give it a bit more tension and see if it helps.

lol, nah its not like i go drifting or racing... or track so weight dont matter to me =) id rather have comfort ahaha i cant afford performance yet. any ways. i tightened the power steering belt. but now i noticed that the alternator bolt (tightening the belt) is loose. but the belt it self is tight. will this affect the car?
