Hey guys im intrested in making my 180sx have a newer feel to it...

so just wondering... has anyone or know anyone who can do this? or can i simply do it myself?

it would be good to see because im really intrested in the s15 dash it looks nice and pretty

ive seen it done, but it would require heaps of custom work and alot of modification..

here's an idea - buy an S15!

S15 nice car but i prefer the 180sx shape it looks nicer to me...personal references but i really do like the s15 dash +clusters etc looks nice.

A guy on NS.com did it, I think his username is Ground Level.

Apparently it was an absolute nightmare of a job, the dash doesn't fit at all and the wiring is a krunt of a job!

Run a search over there...see what you can dig up.

The basics are

Cut S15 dash to FIT
Use S13 mount's AND custom mounts to make them fit on the s15 dash
custom wiring for gauges
custom ducts needed for aircon
s15 dash needs to be bent abit to fit correctly.

yeh ground level done it....he told me it was alot of work involved in doins it n costed him abit to do it also....not worth it

Those pop out guages are awesome! Though there's no way I'd lose my air vents.

As for the S15 dash in 180sx - definitely sounds like too much work. Why not just get some sort of aftermarket dash [cluster] ?

oh man that was so cool, but id agree its too hot in summer to lose your air con vents
