it'd be more like it now allows the suspension to work properly,so your previous settings that were attempting to compensate for the flexing are now incorrect.

Yes a cage does the trick. I never realised how much the 180 flexed, but now with a cage in it and a heap of other bracing, its rock solid and super rigid. So rigid that its stuffs all your suspension settings up

Ill second that Justin! Braces are an absolute must with coilovers if you want them to work properly.

True. After throwing in a bit more camber and a heap of castor this morning, the car turns and sits so much better then it did without the cage. Feels like it could potentially go a lot faster around the track now

Word, I have driven near stock 180 and near stock S15 and there is a world of diference in chassis flex between the two

is it worth getting a rear floor brace for a 180?

Also have any of you seen the "magic brace"? I was looking through japan yahoo auctions and came across it... its like a mini cage for the back including the rear strut brace, a rear chassis brace that goes between where the rear seatbelts are bolted and theres a massive X welded between them from eaxh of the corners... It looked fairly effective.
