 Post subject: Need Help!

Last night as i was driving the engine just cut out and reved
down to a stop.
I think it might have something to do with the ignition but havent had time to cheack spark yet.
Im runnning a power Fc and split fire ignition system any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah it seems like the fuel pump after i toed it home.
does anyone know where i could find another GTR fuel pump in good working order

why would you bother putting another 2nd hand pump in when you can get a brand new walbro for probably less than a GTR pump

You might have kicked it home but you'll kick yourself if you buy a secondhand pump and it dies in 6 mnths :wink: :wink:

or 6 minutes.

a fuel pump is one area where you don't want to be stingy. particularly when it's behind an engine you push hard. 'I saved a hundred bucks putting in a 2nd hand pump but it couldn't cope and the engine leaned out at 1 bar of boost and I melted a piston...'

recently had a similar problem in an other mates car & it was the kill switch on the alarm was knocked on the kick pannel.

better to check simple things 1st... if it has one

Yeah the problem was the fuel pump so changed if for a bosch 500hp
fuel pump ,it works great
