Try starting off in heavy traffic on a wet road with the road slopping to the gutter with a brass clutch and then see if you can take off without spining the wheels, it is near on impossible no matter how careful you are.

If you're stupid enough to be driving around with 200+kw with a brass button clutch on 6" rims with shitty tyres in heavy traffic while its raining, then yes it would be difficult, but not impossible.

200+kw is fine in the wet. the lag means you have bugger-all torque as you gently take off,so it's LESS likely to spin up.

and also,why do you need a button clutch in your daily driver anyway?

You need a brass button in ya daily driver cause its just not fun enough in peak hour traffic with a manual transmission you gotta get a brass button clutch to get more of a work out! who needs to go to the gym when ya been in peak hour traffic for half the day with a brass button clutch? ;)

Sounds like a nice holiday to me. My bike has a 19 plate clutch (that's 10 drive plates and 9 clutch plates for those of you just tuning in), not to mention I'm completely covered in protective gear so I get stinking hot in traffic in summer. The seating position means you get a sore back after a short ride too...

It does do 0-200 in a little over 7 seconds though. Standard. :)

I used to drive a car with a brass button clutch and never had a problem in the rain.
I had enough power that even in the dry it'd fry the tyres till third gear, but was still no problem at all in the wet. The right pedal can be used gradually, and even a brass button clutch will let you take off smoothly if you have some idea what you're doing.

I've had a button clutch in all my daily drivers for the last 5 years or so. If you have half an idea how to drive a car, a button clutch will cause you no issues at all no matter what the weather conditions

Mate in my 180 i hav a cusco 2way n a brass button clutch n hav no trouble with traction, but hey a lil sideways every now and then is good unless u a lil bitch
