hey guys i got a new pod thanks to CUE-O2C (potsy the mad dog) and ive got a question about a pipe i disconnected from the ecg i think its called? the jap air filter parts anyway, i took them all off. the pipe runs into a part situated on the right side of the block.. ive included pictures to show u what i mean. it also makes a bit of a loud idoling noise like rumbling but the car seems to go fine..? is this normal or should i do something with the hole..?

Hey Brilly,

Looks a bit better than the standard box.

Here are some options.

1) Remove "EGR" and block the pipe coming off your dump pipe.

2) Fit that little filter i was telling you about i have to the EGR where you have circled

3) Fit my 3 inch dump and front pipe and piss it off all together.

It is just exhaust gas getting dumped out of there and is no harm. Just makes that crazy farting like noise.

Another option is to disconnected to vacuum hose, that's what I did. Now the egr valve is permanently closed and should stay that way unless it leaks.

it seems to run fine other than the noise.. think i might go with the dump option. the noise also comes in when going down gears and coming to a stop.
