hey guys, Heres a pic of my engine bay after a bit of work. Waiting on some $$ to do some more. I would like some feedback on my choice of colour for my respray. The colour is Holden Turismo Blue. http://upload.silviansw.com/Image008.jpg Hope to get her up and running soon and bring it on a cruise.Anyway like i said any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Are you intending to spray the whole car that holden blue, or looking for compliments on the rocker cover? I think that colour might be abit bold for the whole car, it's hard to say. Some dark wheels would probably suit that colour. |

it'll be a pretty loud looking car if you paint it that colour,but hey,your choice. I stay away from bowling ball colours myself. especially on cars that have potential defects. the less attention the paint attracts the better. a car doesn't have to be a bright primary colour to look good. dark metallics can look awesome if the scheme is well chosen. an old HQ in british racing green with black two tone and lots of chromework springs to mind for one example. lots of people have painted imports bright stand out colours. try something else maybe and you might actually achieve that elusive goal of most young guys: being different. really low over big wheels in bright blue with a wild bodykit isn't a new concept. smooth,understated lines,darker paint with tasteful mods is a formula you don't see quite as often. thanks for the feedback. yeah the whole car is going that colour, except for black roof, black bonnet, black rims.the colour is a bit loud but for some reason first time i seen the colour i wanted my car the same. im definetly staying away from the big chrome wheels and doof doof stereo. Rear window wiper, aerial, rear water sprayer and front side indicators have been removed and are being shaved. Its also getting a full body straightening .i have also de-badged it and removed any stickers. i am just going a mild bodykit like the vertex or bn sports, no wide bodykit. Once spraying is finished i will post some more pics. Cheers Mitch. |
