hey peoples,

well I think i'll probably keep my car and just sit out the rest of the 6 months, by that time i will have some serious money saved up for mods.

Im considering a stroker kit, now I know it would increase torque by a fair amount, but does increase your kw by a substantial amount as well?

does anyone here have one ?

Not much power advantage for a FMIC more just a safety measure for cooler inlet temps. As for a stroker kit they are really, really expensive and probably not worth the bother. Whats your budget? Then i can help.

I wouldnt go a stroker, its just not worth it.

just get the bolt on goodies and be content with the power they provide.

say...adding another 50kw at the wheels to what you already have now.

just put on a set of cams and cam gears these can be brought for around $1500 labour to fit them should only be about 3 hours worth then add tuning and you should see around 200kws add a front mount and bigger injectors and 250kws should be obtainable

thanks for the input guys, looks like i wont be getting a stroker kit!

I'll have a budget of around $4000-$5000.

I already have a full 3inch exhaust, high flowed t25, GTR fuel pump, and a 3 stage boost controller.

Front mount is definately next on the list, so thats about $1000 there (thanks to white180sx, hope you can still get me those cheap coolers man1)

I want to get around 200rwkw, and thats a RELIABLE 200rwkw, I dont want the engine blowing up on me after a week

A highflowed T28 would help you can alot of power :)

Also you will need injectors and a fuel pump, air flow meter (80mm wouldn't be a bad idea).

Get yourself a DECENT turbo such as an HKS 2530/2540 get some aftermarket management plus some bigger injectors and you will EASILY see a reliable 200rwkw+ at reasonable boost safe for standard motor ie: 17psi

High flowed turbo..
no wonder 149kw.. but then again thats 14psi...
with the FMIC its more for safety as QIK180 said.

but it will be a good start so you can start running higher boost with more fuel mods.

PM me if your after a cooler.
Give me dimensions and that.

the cooler i have on my car is all gone. that was dirt cheap.
give me yous spec and i'll source it out..

:D

Ok say you can get the cooler for $1000 lets see, injectors i can find at around $700, Unichip or Chiptorque say $1500, save some more get an HKS turbo GT2530 is plenty. You're budget is gone, next its time to get some HKS 256 / 264 10.5 lift cams and the cam gears. Dont get 11.5 lift or you'll be doing valve springs aswell.

I have been offered 600cc injectors off the S15 that I might be buying a turbo from.. they only want $600.

If I dont buy them (getting extremely low on funds and need to have enough for rego :P) then you might want to look at them.

Otherwise there are some 550cc Apexi ones for sale for $800 on these very forums :P

S15's don't have 600cc injectors they are 480cc unless its been upgraded or highflowed.

All up around the $1500 mark. Talk to BD4's they do the distribution. They keep the car on power longer.
