Hey guys..
fairly new to the club..although ive already owned 2 180s.. the first was horribly taken away from me by a red P plater in a magna doing 110 into the side of me.. dang..

anyway so ive just bought my 180 type X 1998 model.. just installed my new hybrid GT intercooler and looking to do alot more... before the intercooler there was nothing done other than a shitty exhaust system and ive already replace front struts and right and left ball joints (wear and tear).. funny enough its only done 63.000k's. full service history and logs.. so i first owner in aus...

anyway yay for me but i need some advice as to what to mod next.. i want to mod it slowly and nicely.. what can i do to the car or i should look into doing to give it some grunt that i can afford in short burst. or should i save up and mod it all at once? also what would i be looking at price wise to get it around the 200kw mark?

input is greatful lads..

personally i would buy an ecu, cause you gunna need one eventually for that kind of reliable power plus it makes it easy to tune along the way. just what i would do hope it helps.

Depending how shitty your exhaust system is, replace that. ECU is a great idea. As for engines mods vs kit and wheels, do what makes you happy  . Thats all that matters i guess

leave the ecu for now.

start with full exhaust and cat, replacement panel filter and bleed valve or ebc and a new fuel pump.

then look at a turbo and manifold and cams

then an ecu, injectors, z32 afm and clutch

Somewhere in the middle start doing some suspension work. Coil overs, castor rods and swaybars.
