It might be easier if you tell us what sort of plastic front bar you're after. What style do you want? Basically most of the genuine Jap stuff will be plastic...

Actually the only aftermarket front bars I have seen that are plastic are Genuine Nismo.

Basically it does not make sense (even for the big companies) to pay $100K for a plastic front bar mould. We have several genuine bars around including Uras, C-West, and BN, and they are all fibreglass. The C-West is definitley the best quality I have seen, and is definitly the most flexible Flexi-fibreglass I have seen.

Jeff.

Id listen to the post just above yours.. Jeff (MFX) ran... MFX (the bodykit company).

I think theres a good chance that if he says theres no plastic bars, then theres no plastic bars

I have seen a lot of different genuine body kit parts, as I mentioned, and they were all fibreglass. Nismo parts are the only plastic ones I have seen, and they are generally very conservative (and very hard to find).

Your best option is to either stick with standard or go C-West. As I said they are not plastic, but there are far and away the best quality genuine kits I have seen. I think EVO Motorsport in Canberra sell them.

All that said if you can find some plastic parts and prove me wrong, I would be keen to see them.

Jeff.
