Hi, Im currently searching for a non turbo 180sx (latemodel) and have really had no luck finding one.

I went onto the J-spec website and found a heap of them in the auction page, both in TypeX, R, S and G form.

I was wondering if anyone knew what both models are, (if one is turbo and the other non turbo etc) as I am a little confused about this.

I have also gone to the SEVS site and looked at the list of compliable cars, and non turbo 180s arent on the list anymore. Does anyone have a number of a importer who has any of these cars in stock?

Thanks, Andrew

Doubtful you'll find one as they weren't exactly sought after. Get a turbo you'll never look back

I'm not too sure if it has come into affect yet, but apparently they are not allowing cars with less than 100kw per ton(tonne?) into the country anymore. Now I know that the s14 q's has an sr20de with more power than the s13 (due to vvt perhaps), so maybe the later model 180sx has the same engine and might make it in.

I probably should have looked into this more (although my sources are the net and the kind ppl here, which is available to you by the look of it :) )

Either way don't go the civic!! If your willing to go for a fwd might as well get a SSS pulsar or some other sr20 based quality nissan vehicle, since it has the same engine as what you were after (no vvt though) and is a local car which will keep the 'nice' insurance companies happy as well as your parents :)

Good luck either way

DeLuxe.
