lol well i found out i was hanging onto the wheel way too much. and it was hindering my drifting.

only took my 8months to figure that out too.

I think it'd probably go that you'd spend less time holding the wheel to start with and then get used to when you should be holding onto it more for fine control instead of just letting the thing slop backwards and forwards in your hands.
Somthing you'll probably see a bit of if you watch oz drifting haha.

Palm steering though....so wrong

cheers mate, something to try when I've got the clutch sorted. All I've got to go on at the moment is a Nomuken training dvd in japanese, it takes some following!

It was fun practice last night though, about midnight I was out in the snow/ice on std road tyres. The roads I was on where empty and I could fishtail lock to lock for about a mile. Great slow second gear fun. Only spun once

Haha fun stuff.
That nomuken DVD isn't tooo hard to follow even though it's in Japanese (if it's the one i've seen), he flaps his arms around plenty so you get the gist hehe.

I didn’t break it, I just modified the operational status...
There are 10 types of people in this world, those that understand binary, and those that don't.

That looked like heaven to me.
Now to find my own mountain at the right price and build eight drift tracks and my own safari zoo!
Also the drift bible dvd by doridori is great to study too!
I personally let the wheel spin in my hand as much as possible, I feel there is more control to be had by letting the car do most of the work and my steering inputs to make the finer adjustments to the slide.
Watching WRC drivers are another good way to learn too.
