I'm considering selling my 180sx because I hardly drive it.

Might buy an old GT cortina as a project car.

Its a 1990 180sx with CA18DET.
Mods include:

Arias Forged Pistons
GT28 Ball Bearing Turbo
Front mount hybrid intercooler
550cc injectors
RB20 Airflow Meter
3inch full exhaust
Malpassi Fuel Regulator
Blitz Dual SBC boost controller (with single valve)
PowerFC with hand controller (not yet tuned properly)
Walbro fuel pump
Boost and Oil Pressure Guages
Thicker radiator.
Oil catch can
D2 CoilOvers all round

Once tuned I was told I could expect around 190kw at the wheels at around 17lbs boost, but I would suggest 180kw might be a safer bet. I've been driving it around on standard boost since I put the PowerFC in as its not tuned for anything else yet.

Here is an older pic of the car

The car has always been garaged, and has probably only done 15,000kms max since the engine was built.
At the moment its not registered because I havent been bothered taking it to get a pink slip since I hardly use it. It ran out in October.
Can organise 12 months rego.

What needs done?
- The intercooler piping is not the best.
- There is a scratch just above the right hand rear wheel arch.
I think thats about it.
I am of the opinion that the engine bay is what makes your power, not look pretty, so theres no cosmetic changes under there.

Anyone interested, or can let me know what it might be worth?

I'd be guessing around the 10K mark? It seems like there is a fair bit of work done, but CA's aren't in very high demand.

Yeah the good old CA vs SR debate

Thanks guys.
I'm stuck.. dont know what to do.
I hardly drive my car, but just the thought of going back to an old car with no aircon etc is hard to handle

I used to have a 13B Turbo Mk1 Escort - you only tend to remember the good things about an older car, not the bad things!

Its not a great market out there at the moment

Ok well I have done it - bought the GT Cortina.

Where is the best place to sell a 180sx these days?

What model GT did you buy?
I like the Mark 1s
My dad's latest project is a Corsair GT.

I used to have a Mk1 Lotus Cortina, fully race prepped. A drift car when drift was not even invented!!

Depending on money, my hope is to put a BDA/Cosworth twincam turbo in the cortina eventually.
A lotus twincam would be nice, but the engines fetch $10k in stock trim.. if you can find one.
