Hey Guys,

I will be getting a new apexi gt spec i/c kit soon for my car.. does anybody have one? i just want to know what size it is (i know the dimensions, but i want to see it on a 180 or sil) and how have people found them so far?

dunno about them coolers but they must be good as it is APEXI. curious to how much are you getting them..

as for how good these coolers are :

my car pulled 125kw@rw with standard 7psi boost.
cooler and exhaust mods only.
Thats a healthy 20% increase over stock..

We'll see the increase when i goost it up...

If you go to the autospeed shop they have pics and dimensions of the Apexi unit. Personally I used to think that the Jap gear was unbeatable, but I have been quoted (on behalf of Mayhem) $1600 for a 720x350x70mm bar and plate made by mick's metal craft, and installed with polished mandrel bent stainless piping.

That core is a fair bit bigger than the Apexi one, so even if the Apexi one has some whizbang secret technology, I think the locak one is the go for the price.

i have had tonnes of locally made coolers on my last few cars... they were never GREAT as such... so this time i am gonna go with a proper Jap one.

how cum it was so cheap from micks metalcraft.. i asked them and they quoted $2400 fitted including piping and the lot for 600x300x90..

is it thickness?? or are they just tryin to rip me off??
