Hi Guys,

There is some mystery liquid appearing on the rear footwell of my 180sx. The liquid seems to be of a greasy nature, not petrol as there is no smell.

Any ideas on what this substance may be, and if its a leak, where is it coming from?

Thanks,
Pols

sometimes the cars have rust protection added, it might be some of that leaking out because of the heat from an exhaust or something similar

dude, i traced the same problem up behind my seat and across the boot floor, to the rear tail light.

Its was trickling in and managed to flow throught the boot, missing the tyre pit, down the back seat, and onto the floor.

Of course I had to rip most of my interior out to find this.
