Hey Dudes,

I want to lower my car by another inch... maybe inch and a half.

Can I get my springs reset to this kind of drop, or would i be best off cutting them? (j/k) .. does anybody know where i can get 3 - 4" lowered springs for a 180? (i have 2" lowered now + koni adjustable struts).

Thanks y'all.

Christian

email these guys.
www.shockobservers.com

they can cold press it and it'll drop by about .5"

but if you want another 1-2" then it needs to be cooked and reset.

never ever cut springs.. its too damn dangerous...
my car is lowered by 1.5 inch and the car sits very low.
if your going 4" we're taking defect zone...

email em and see what they can do :D

yeah, i was joking. :)

i dont wanna go to 4" ... maybe 2.5-ish, but i dont know exactly how much lower my current ones are - maybe .5" will be good... any idea of costs?

Thanks for the help!

Christian

if you take the springs out yourself and bring em to him and ask to cold press them then it be inder the 100.. way under ...

remember though that when you cold press them they will be very stiff after the proccess. if you cook em again and reset it then it'll be the same rate and stiffness as it is. well depends on what you tell em to do...

:D

well, the suspension is SHIT hard now (koni adjustable struts) so i dont know if cold pressing them will make 'em harder.

I emailed them anyway.

He might just mean damper-adjuster shocks, not coil-overs?
