When you turn on the headlights, I assume the current is then is passed onto the unit for raising the lights.

I think you could either put in a timer between the headlight stalk or at the unit. I would say at the unit, incase the headlight stalk signal is just an initiator.

I think it would be relatively easy to use the signal from the headlight control unit to then go into a lazy eye controller.

Turn light on, signal goes to lazy controller, controller to headlight.

Although by the sounds of it it's what you're already doing :)

yeh pretty much, i wanna use a micro switch at the light tho, so i know its always at the same height, cos that way i can position my new lights int the mechanism to suit.
