I didn't really want to waste too much time shopping around so I just went to cartft.com and got the whole lot from there couple of months ago.

The whole thing cost me about 1600, but I work in IT so it might be tax deductable as it's just a computer :)

you might get some problems with power using old ATX (i think it's pretty hard to find AT computers nowadays) box as I used low power consuming mini-atx Epia M.

As for OS you might find that nix Front Ends are not quite finished yet.

i like your idea of the mini computer :) and that site might come in handly. mine came stock with GPS but it only works in Japan. lol

have u thought bout using a laptop rather, you can usually pick up an old laptop for a few hundred on ebay and places like that.

would be a bit more compact

the wheels are 17x8
Did I lower it? nope mate it's stock height LOL, joking.
that's maximum that Tein HA allowed me to go - 2.5" in front and 3.5' at the back comparing to stock
