it all depends on what rims you use

i had 18" on before and the car handeled like shit

put the 17" on and the car handles 100x better and also doesnt hit the guards now

with the 18" rims the tyre always hit the guards at high speed cornering

as for tyre size i was running a 225/35 on the front and a 225/40 on the rear

I have 18 x 7.5 at front, 18 x 8.5 at rear, running RAYS Gram Lights 57Pro with offset as recommended by my contact at RAYS Japan. Rims weigh fuk all, look great, and handling has not been affected adversly.

Ive got 18's on my s15.

18 by 8 on the front, 18 by 9.5 on the back and 225/40 and 265/40 tyres.

As for power loss if you are changing from stock wheels/tyres you will gain handling and traction. Well thats what I found after changing my 16's to 18's.

It depends how wide the tyre is.

haha nah, as in, if you're running a really wide tyre the 35 isn't going to reduce the rolling diameter by much or at all.

i got 18" on my 18sx, 225/40 on both front and back, also lowered 2" and have never had a problem with rubbing or anything like that. handling is allot better than the stockers.

as for power loss, my car is stock so i dont notice the differance :D
