It will depend on the offsets, but it should go.

Apart from the offsets which are critical, the size of the tyres you wish to run is also very important.

I've got a pair of 16 x 9" rims on my car with an offset of +37 with 225/50/16 stretched over them and they fit perfectly inline with stock 180 gaurds..

I think if you are going to go 9.5 you'll definitely have to under tyre the rim with a 225 or 235 but would be borderline on legal?

you want wide rims u want widest tyre you can get!!!! so you can leave big fat rubber marks everywhere u go!!!

I've got 9.5in rims on the back of my 200sx with 225's. Any wider tyres and they scrub

its interesting how that works..

I had 265s on a 9" wide +38 rim on my s13 silvia, and still had plenty of room left (didnt even roll the lip, let alone flare the guard).. I reckon I could have gone 10s under there!

Ive got 255s on an 8.5" on the 180, with miles of room left. Someone sponsor me and ill gladly put 9.5s on the rear with a wide tyre :P
