i always keep hearing about rocker arm stoppers can someone explain.

i know that when ur running alotta high boost everone usually changes install these and head studs....

what is the determining factor for changing ur internals...

i have a s13 red top ..i am getting a s15bb turbo , i know i have to get 550cc now and what about my management?

can my same air flow work do i need to retune the ecu or can i put in a safc or apexi or sumtin

SR20's dont actuate the valve directly with the cam, it runs a rocker arm as the cam sits off to the side of the valves.

The reason people install rocker arm stoppers is to prevent the rocker arm from flailing around on its pivot if it ever cracks and damaging the cam lobes.

It doesn't increase performance of the engine in any way, it's just a bit of insurance. They usually get intalled at the same time as a set of aftermarket cams.

You don't need internals or head studs if you are going to run an s15bb turbo, but a set of cams will be beneficial. The stock ecu will be fine until you decide to install injectors and a bigger afm.
