like the topic reads.. just wanted to know what's the biggest size i can fit under the guards (diameter and width)...

im after a set of street cruising rims.. dont think my drift spec race wheels are too flashy for city cruising.....

soo... can anyone help me out here????

Hmmm... Depends on your suspension setup.

I had 16 x 8.5" on stock suspension and they were a tight fit and I had to get rid of them and replace with 17x 7.5" for lowering the car.

true, Ive got full coil overs so 18 by 9's are a wicked! heaps of room for you to move around

what is your drift spec rims look like.
I'm looking for 16s X 8.
MAYHEMS one would have been perfect. i wanna put 245s rear and 225front..

BUT i've seen 19s on a 180. SNEZY's..

my current rims are 16x8.5... pretty wide huh??

i have Tein coil overs... looking for something more flashy... but still would like something deep dished... something wide ass.... at least 17-18x 8-9 inches would be nice... wonder if it'd fit though aye??? has anyone got rims that wide on their rides???

9 inch wide rims wont go near the front of an s13. They will fit on the rear sweet though, this is the reason i never got r33 GTR wheels. I had 8 inch front and rear and they hung out past the front guards!

check out denzo's 180sx..........sweeeeeeeeeeet 18 by 9 r34 rims and hes goin for te37 volks and there 9.5 all the way round.

Yeah and that was with the suspension out of his original 180... so it scrubbed like a bi*tch when driving with two or three people :(

With stock suspension the 8.5" sat flush with the guards.

And with DumHed's previous suspension we couldn't even fit my 16x8.5" as they hit the springs (sat about 1cm away from flush with the hub) and stuck out a bit :(
