i ahve a 180sx
red top sr20det original t25 turbo, 3" exhaust, Nismo fpr, 17inch wheels

what are the easiest mods to install to reach ths 1/4 mile time

i am thinking about a t3 t4 turbo ... there are alot of differant views when it comes to turbo selections which turbo should be ideally suited to my goals ( my car is daily driven also)

everyone talks about reaching 200kw how much horsepower is that and what 1/4 mile time might u get with this type of power prividing good lauch

thnx a lot

my mate with a s15 with 180rwkw ran a 12.8 second pass, all you need is a good launch :D he was running Micky Thompson Drag Slicks

there's no reason why you cant run a low 13 or high 12 on the stock turbo and street tyres.

all you'll need is a front mount intercooler, some ecu changes, 1 bar boost and a good launch.

it depends on what you want to do! if all you want is a high 12, get an S15 turbo. that'll be fine.

u dont have to run 1 bar all the time! get a boost controller and bring it down to 12psi or something if u like

A stock T25G will give you your low 13/high 12, but if you prefer to use less boost, an S15 turbo charger should give sames results on a few less psi.

a T3/T4 is pretty old school these days.

They'll make a little bit more power than an S15 turbo, but with heaps more lag and will cost a lot more to install due to needing a new manifold and dump pipe, as well as the intake piping and oil / water lines.

It'll also be less fuel efficient because you'll always be driving around using more throttle due to the lag meaning no low rpm grunt.
An S15 turbo or similar will be just as responsive as the T25G, so it won't use any more fuel (unless you're driving it harder)
