Hey all,

I've got a little problem with the way my car is decellerating, its a CA18DET with a 3" exhaust turbo back (it still has original muffler but different tip), and turbotech boost controller running 8psi.

So basically when i rev the car to about 5000rpm it pops n burbles when it decellerates... is there anyway to elliminate the problem??? It also idles at about 1600rpm after boosting it a bit.

could it be that i need to change the exhaust end? or is it possibly a vacuum problem? (vacuum reads about 18 at idle, and about 22 after running abit).

Cheers.

Ur exhurst shouldnt have that sort of effects on ur car, if the problem started straight after u changed then take it to were it got done to be fixed but it sounds like u have an advancing problem, u might hav a sticky vacuum valve and it needs replacing.
