Hello to you all.
I'm a new member,so I'll give you a little introduction of myself.
My name is Kevin Bex and I live in Belgium.
I'm 25 years old and a proud owner of a nissan 200sx S13 sr18det.
My car has just a few alterations, full exhaust, airfilter and boostpressure.
Thats it! But the car is running very smooth,my mechanic told me that he never has driven a car with such good respond. So I'm very pleased! 8)
Now I'm looking HELP WANTED,PLEASE!!!!!
I'm also planning to go and look for a somewhat bigger turbo.
A T03/T04 60 Hybrid...IF...that's ok????Are there maybe other turbo's with the same specs/price???? I want +-250-320Hp at the rear WITHOUT turbostress. So it has to be a fast-spool-lots-of-air-moving-turbo.Is this imposible for a small price?Does anyone hve experience with this turbo?I do need a fittingkit?
Please contact me!
Kevin Bex

Well the turbo you are looking at is too big and wont spool up well. Good for outright power but useless for day to day, that and it will stress your internals.

Look at a Garrett / HKS GT2530 or GT2540 or similar, match it with a decent intercooler and a programmeable chip / ECU decent fuel delivery ie. bigger pump and fuel reg. You may also need injectors to get the power safely without leaning out the air/fuel ratio. While you are at it good electronic boost controller like a Greedy profec B would be a good investment. If you can find a Z32 ( 300ZX ) air flow meter chuck that in aswell. Later on to make it bulletproof a metal head gasket and bump the compression up a litlle for better response, also the valves have a nasty habit of dying after a lot of high rev driving.

Mate i've had similar results with the above package and the drivability is excellent, mid range is a lot of fun. PM me if you have any questions.

Cheers

Thanks man!
I hear you know a lot of tuning.
So,should I first install a bigger and better intercooler?
Also do you know where I can look for a whole set of tubes starting from the airfilter till the engine? So I get a better flow?
I like them a lot thicker than the stock ones,so...
Thanks again for the tips! :D

Problem being your either gonna have to spend some money or do a fair bit of custom work yourself. Easiest way, it'll cost, is just get a Trust off the shelf unit if the cooler is what you want first, it doesnt really matter but it'd be on my to do list, comes with all the necessary piping. As long as all the stuff i mentioned above goes on it shall all be good. Tuning wise yeah have spent a fair bit of time helping set up my cars fuel maps, make sure its all sweet or you just risk things going bang and pop.

8) Trust is good but a little too expensive for my tiny wallet.
But a good choice!
A friend of mine has the biggest from Norrisdesign.
Are there other less costly options?
Maybe from a Saab turbo???
Or is a intercooler from a 2.0 200sx bigger than the 1.8?
But what about water/air cooled ones?
Are they better or more expensive if you take the same size?
Does anyone know this?

Mitsubishi VR4 unit. Hunt around for a GTR one second hand and get some piping from an exhaust shop.

:-? Well...there's only one problem!
A intercooler from a Skyline GTR is very good...
But the main problem is...THERE IS ONLY ONE,thats right, just ONE GTR in
WHOLE BELGIUM!!!!!!
So I can't buy it because that one is from Mr. Lieberman.
You know, the ex-owner of the Toyota Supra from the fast and the furius.
He has the only Skyline GTR 34 in Belgium.(if I'm good informed...)
So it is THE MOST exclusive car here.
It's because you all have the steer at the right side.
We have it left. And I think you can't buy a left one version without a mod.Nissan does not have a left steer version(stock)???????
But I could be mistaken???
Does anyone know more about this?
Now for the VR4,is that a car?Don' know this...
I think i'll have to look around on the net and try to get some info about this??????What is the best diametre for the pipings?
Thanx 8)

Just a though.
Oh and i dont know about the prices of IC's in Belgium, but im sure you could get a GTR cooler imported from here without any hassles.

 Well,I wish I've had the money for a GTR 34...
HMMMMMMM!!!!Don't have it
We'll have to do it with our good old 200sx.
It's also a big headturner here in Belgium.
But a skyline..it's the cherry on a pie!
The top of the bill,as they say...
Does any one feel free to donate a GTR 34???? :D
I can give you something back...like ah...pen?
...or maybe...an euhm...hamster?
Or...an old grandma?
Feel free to take a good old grandma in exchange for a Skyline GTR34???
Any one???

Well...the tuning microbe is very high here in Belgium!
VW Golf,Opel Corsa,Opel Manta,Citroen Saxo,BMW 3series,Honda Accord,Honda Civic are the favorit cars for the younger public.Not that I'm old,I'm 25.
Mostly Japanese turbo cars are rare!Nissan doesn't import a S15 nor skyline. What drives here is 300ZX twin T,200SX 1.8T,Scooby's,Eclips non turbo,...and a few more. But don't expect the whole jap collection!
My car is almost stock.
I've got a very nice and deep sounding exhaust.Very nice!!!
K&N airfilter and just a little extra boost on my T25.
But I'm still waiting more than 4 months on my HKS SSQV dumpvalve....It should arive after 8 day's.
Thats it!Oh yeh I even got a spare grandma in the trunk!
So two grandma's?
No problem,I'll just drive with my 200sx to Austalia and bring them to your place!
What was your adress again?
Does anyone of you guys have a spare Skyline???Maybe as old as my grandma?Something rusty?Anyone???
Oh yeahI've heard of a left driven skyline...but I'm not for shure.
It is rebuild!Must be very costly!
Also I would like a widebody kit.Something like Jacquemond...NICE!
See yah

VR4 is a Mitsubishi. Surely you wouldnt have too much trouble finding a cooler and just getting it sent over. I can keep an eye out over here they are always around for a decent price. As for the skyline thing unless its a GTR give me an S series car any day, even then the GTR is over rated and more an indulgence. Dont take that the wrong way they are awesome but its cult worship is pretty one eyed.

GTR or GTS,it works fine for me!!!
Only,don't know the exact difference?
Does someone know this?
Just like an 34 model!!!
If I had the choice between the most beautifull chic in the world or a brand new skyline 34 GTS or GTR...I'll deffenently go for the ride!!!
You can have the most beautifull girl there is but this option can't give you an
Skyline, unless the bitch* is rich and does like you very much.On the other hand when you drive a skyline,THE CHICS WILL COME TO YOU!!!!
Tada!!!
Ok have a look for me,I will appriciate this.
But I was thinking for a skyline intercooler...unless they are a lot more expensive or if they aren't that good as an VR4.OK?
Tell me.

*just a manner of speaking it rimes on rich. 8)
