Basic GTR / GTSt differences

GTR - 4WD twin turbo RB26DETT inline 6 awesome engine
GTSt - RWD single turbo RB20/25 depending on 32 or 33

Then there are the non turbo variants and variants of the GTS like the GTS4 R32 4WD and RB20. Easisest way to spot a genuine GTR look for a front diff and stock flared guards.

Girl vs Car thing i aint touching, you cant compare the 2 but i do see where you are coming from.

Stop idolising Skylines they are not all they are cracked up to be.

So you mean the skyline isn't a very "trusty" car.
I just like the looks! It's awesome!Don't like 1200Hp tune-ups.Sounds good but it's just specs.Even if you've got 1200Hp this doesn't mean you can drive better! If someone gave me the chance to make a choice between a stock skyline 34 GTR(GTSt ) or a prototype Ferrari F60 I still choose the Nissan.Just because I like the looks. Also the driveabilety is amasing.
If there was a skyline with an 200sx engine in it...I'll take it to.HEHE!
The engine of a 200sx version (1.8 ,2.0 ,2.4 ,2.8 ,1.8T ,2.0T)is probably the best engine from nissan!Of course it can't handle 1200Hp+ but 350Hp should do it's work!But don't understand me wrong,I like the 200sx as much as a skyline!I'll keep them both then!
Ofcourse you can't compare a 1.8T versus a 2.7Twin T.
The skyline is a somewhat higher pricetag-class.Becausse of the 4Wd and V6 engine and twin Turbo's.
Does any of you guys have rearweel steering on it's car?
Is this better?
How does it work? Can you buy this as an upgrade?
Or is it worthless??? 8)

The GTR is a 2.6L :D

Oh btw, do you have Silvias over there with 2.4s and 2.8s? Is that the american versions, KA24DE or something like that?

some have.But very few.
I've seen 1 2.4L DE on a parking some time ago.
2.6L v6 skyline.OK,could be.I've said 2.7 but this could be wrong.
Don't have a skyline so I don't know it.
Don't know the exact CCM but some brand round there figures upwards or downwards. What is the official CCM for an GTR 34?

Oh,6 inline... Aha,I see.
didn't know that!Also
Someone told me that a 300zx has also a 6 inline and a V6 engine.
And that the 6 inline is not a good engine, because it can't handle high rev's and the engine wears quickly...????
Is this thrue?

2597cc. Its the same with all the RB26s. Only thing real difference between the 3 skylines is the Torque.
352Nm for the R32 GTR
368Nm for the R33 GTR
392Nm for the R34 GTR

The Straight six performance engines (eg. RB26DETT, 2JZGTE) are awesome at producing power, and I havent heard of any having problems like what you mentioned. They are all changing to V6s because not only are they more compact, but they are apparently cheaper to produce.

Inline 6's are actually one of the best designs for high revs because they are naturally balanced. This is why they are so much smoother than 4's.
Due to this they also tend to last well.
