hey there,

Ok i got my car back from major service recently, and hadn't driven it much before that. Anyways i'm just wondering if its normal for the boost gauge (auto-meter in brand) to read over 10psi when im barely over 4000rpm.

Its saying the boost is so high and yet im only jus feeling the kick at around 4000rpm (which is normal i heard).

So is my gauge defective??

Car: 180sx
Engine: CA18DET
(w/dual stage boost controller)

Cheers.

Sounds about right. If the boost controller is your only mod then you probably won't get much of a surge in acceleration when it hits boost.
