Hi,

I own a 180sx 1996 sr20de and would like to turbo it do you guys think it is more cost effective to find a bolt on kit or to find a engine and do a engine swap.

engine swap's probably cheaper in the end, and will give much better performance...
Welcome to the site BTW!

yeah, go the swap for sure.
I know a place
Martin Engineering
he he he
Its really hard to say how much you should pay. I paid $600 labour and $1100 in parts to fit a DE to my navara but that was a custom fit. Rigoli wanted $3500.
but yours will be simpler so scrutinise everything the guy says.
after all that i did the turbo myself. F***ing mechanics!
